WHY NOT CARNIVAL 2026?
Rio Carnival 2026 was more than just a trip, it became a global community experience. Across Carnival week, over 1,500 travellers from around the world connected through WhyNot? Travel Community, creating unforgettable memories, friendships, and experiences together in Rio de Janeiro.
We hosted a packed schedule of sold out events and experiences designed to bring people together beyond the typical tourist experience. This included 2x sold out Boat Parties, samba classes, Brazilian BBQ Cooking Experiences, Beach Meetups, Sports Days, a Run Club and our creator football tournament.
The energy across the week was incredible. People arrived solo and left with genuine friendships, travel groups, future plans, and memories they’ll never forget. One of the most special parts of the experience was seeing people from completely different countries and backgrounds connect through travel, culture, music, sport, and adventure.
